Art Therapist | Trauma-Informed Clinician | Joyful Guide

With over 20 years of experience in the counseling field, Bridget Speer brings both deep expertise and light-hearted presence to her work. Known for her warmth, playfulness, and dedication, she creates a safe, supportive space where clients of all ages can explore emotions, navigate change, and discover those powerful “aha” moments that bring insight and relief.

As an art therapist, Bridget meets each person right where they are—offering compassion, creativity, and just the right amount of information to help make sense of what’s going on. Whether she’s working with a 3-year-old using paint and puppets or guiding an adult through deep trauma work, her approach is grounded, flexible, and full of heart.

Bridget’s background includes extensive work with survivors of domestic violence and underserved communities impacted by systemic inequities. Trauma recovery is a cornerstone of her practice, and she blends traditional and creative modalities to support healing. She draws from Person-Centered Therapy, CBT, Art Therapy, Skills Training, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma-Informed care—and she’s always open to exploring non-traditional, body-based, and mindfulness practices.

Whether you’re looking to heal, grow, or just feel a little more like yourself again, Bridget brings a steady hand, a playful spirit, and a big heart to the journey.
