Bridget Speer, ATR-BC, LPC-S (she/her)

Clinician

I strive to create a safe, supportive and therapeutic environment for individuals to explore emotions, come to terms with change, and develop insight or those “aha” moments that bring clarity and a sense of relief. Our thoughts, feelings, behaviors, experiences, and relationships interact to create our lives. Our path through life can be navigated back to a desired course with creativity, support, and compassion.

I work with a wide range of individuals, including 3-year-olds through adult clients. Trauma work is one of the cornerstones of my practice and I provide services for those in recovery from domestic violence. Much of my time has been in front-line agencies targeting underserved populations highly impacted by inequity and exclusion.

My intention is to always meet individuals at their current comfort level, while guiding or facilitating change. I provide a person-centered experience combined with practices drawn from Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Skills Training, Trauma-Informed training, Art Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I am open to exploring more non-traditional therapies, body-centered practices and mindfulness.

Bridget is accepting new clients at the Joy Street (South Austin) office.
