Cheryl Ann Goveia is a compassionate therapist, artist, and guide who integrates creativity, spirituality, and earth-based wisdom into her therapeutic work. A Certified Eco/Art Therapist and Grief Counselor, Cheryl Ann brings a holistic, nurturing approach to healing—honoring the interconnectedness of body, mind, and spirit.

As a third culture kid (TCK), lifelong artist, and former educator, Cheryl Ann brings a unique perspective and diverse skill set to each session, fostering an environment of empathy, curiosity, and understanding. Her background includes extensive experience in art therapy, grief counseling, trauma-informed care, and holistic healing practices. She is passionate about co-creating personalized treatment plans with clients, building trust, and walking alongside them on their path to growth and well-being.

Cheryl Ann’s work is grounded in evidence-based approaches while drawing inspiration from her personal healing journey. Her portfolio includes training in bodywork, midwifery, yoga, meditation, and a lifelong love of gardening, hiking, and travel. She incorporates expressive arts, mindfulness, movement, bibliotherapy, and journaling into therapy—tailoring sessions to meet the needs of each individual.

Cheryl Ann supports tweens, adolescents, adults, and elders navigating anxiety, depression, grief (including ambiguous grief), trauma, divorce, LGBTQIA+ identities, and life transitions. She is open to integrating “alternative” healing approaches, creating a space where all parts of the self are welcomed and explored.

Above all, Cheryl Ann believes that healing is a collaborative journey—and she is honored to walk alongside her clients with compassion, creativity, and care.
