Kami Land (she/her) , MAAT, LPC, ATR-BC
Multicultural Counselor | Artist | Heart-Centered Healer

“A popular proverb says, ‘It takes a village to raise a child.’ Though often quoted, I believe it holds true for people of all ages. In seasons of joy or moments of hardship, we all need to feel seen, heard, and genuinely cared for.”

As a proud Choctaw descendant, artist, and counselor, I bring a multicultural lens, intuitive presence, and creative spirit into every session. With over 15 years of experience as an educator, my Master’s-level research and clinical practice focused on helping children and adolescents navigate stress, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I also work with adults and families, with experience in addiction recovery, co-occurring disorders, grief and loss, and emotional wellness.

My approach is person-centered and integrative. Whether through talk therapy, art-making, cognitive-behavioral tools, or solution-focused techniques, I meet clients with compassion and flexibility—always honoring their unique stories, beliefs, and inner strengths. I believe expression is not only a way to process, but a path for healing. As an artist at heart, I often invite clients to explore emotions through imagery, storytelling, and reflection.

Deeply devoted to community and family, I believe connection is the root of healing—and that each of us is deserving of support, belonging, and growth. If you're looking for a therapist who leads with heart and holds space for your full, authentic self—I’d be honored to walk with you.

I offer a free 15-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit.
