Kim believes the therapeutic journey involves a collaboration of the mind, body, and heart in order to achieve growth and to find healing. Kim utilizes a trauma-informed art therapy approach that also incorporates the use of gentle stretching, movement, and breathwork to help facilitate the therapy process. Kim provides services to children, teens, and adults from many different backgrounds, with a specialty in the chronic illness and oncology populations.
Kim graduated with a Master’s in Art Therapy from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods and has worked extensively with children, teens, and families from underserved communities. In addition to art therapy and counseling, Kim also has training in the Trauma-Conscious Yoga Method and is currently working on her yoga teacher training certification to deepen the art therapy process and to provide a more diverse range of treatment options for her clients.
