Kim Wooten, MAAT, LPC, ATR, TCYM (she/her)
Art Therapist | Trauma-Conscious Yoga Practitioner | Animal Lover | Heart-Centered Healer

“Hello brave soul… You are seen. You are heard. You matter.”

Kim brings warmth, kindness, and deep empathy to every session, offering a safe, creative space where clients can explore healing at their own pace. With a Master’s degree in Art Therapy and training in trauma-conscious yoga, Kim takes a holistic approach—honoring the mind, body, and heart as essential parts of the healing process.

She has worked with children, teens, and adults from diverse walks of life, with a special focus on at-risk youth, trauma recovery, anxiety, grief, and chronic illness. Whether through art-making, somatic practices, or mindful reflection, Kim meets each client with compassion and care, helping them reconnect with their strengths and navigate life’s challenges.

Outside the therapy room, Kim is an animal lover who shares her life with over 3 cats, 10 chickens, and 3 dogs including her dog, Max—who’s currently training to become a medical alert service dog! She and her husband are building their dream home on land just outside of Austin, where she feels grounded by nature and the rhythms of the earth.

Kim believes healing is never meant to be walked alone. She invites you to take that first brave step toward wholeness and reach out for a free 15-minute phone consultation. “I would be honored to walk beside you on your healing journey, and to share what art therapy can offer you.”
